A Day in Paradise: Exploring Camaya Coast in Bataan

Camaya Coast is a beach resort and a residential property located on the southernmost tip of Bataan. It is a cove surrounded by lush mountains and a kilometer stretch of fine sand with clear blue waters.

Last weekend I finally got the opportunity to visit Camaya Coast. I just discovered this place through a TikTok video, and from there, I got curious and searched for more videos and articles online.

Luckily, a friend introduced me to Sir Robert, who helped us visit Camaya. There are three ways to get there: land, air, and sea, but we opted the sea travel via ferry from the Esplanade in Mall of Asia for only 499 pesos roundtrip. The ferry ride was smooth and comfortable, and it took about 2 hours to reach Camaya Coast.

Once we arrived, I was mesmerized by the area's natural beauty. The blue color of the calm sea and the sky, the green trees, the fine sand, and the mountains' rocks are a feast for the eye, not to mention the warm and fresh breeze of the air.

Aside from swimming, there are other water activities to enjoy in Camaya. You can ride a kayak or a jetski or challenge yourself with the obstacles in the mini inflatable park.

There is also a pool near the beachfront, but I recommend checking the "Aqua Fun" water park. From there, you can enjoy views of the mountain and the beach while sliding down water slides and having a blast. Don't worry about walking or hiking going there as there are free shuttle services you can ride.

Of course, all that activities can make you hungry, and Camaya Coast offers a variety of restaurants. You don't have to travel far to get some food because there are snack bars and restaurants right on the seaside.

If you're planning a day trip, you can stay in the picnic areas with tables and chairs on the beachfront. And don't worry about your belongings; you can rent a locker for only 100 pesos. There is also a hotel if you want to stay overnight. Although I decided on a day trip, I had heard excellent things about the hotel from other visitors.

One unexpected highlight of our visit was an acoustic performance in the picnic area. It was the perfect way to unwind after a day of adventure and take in the beautiful surroundings. But the staff says there's a fire dance show during the weekend. Unfortunately, we missed the show as our trip going back to Manila is at 5 PM.

In conclusion, I highly recommend a trip to Bataan's Camaya Coast. Everyone may find something to enjoy there, whether traveling alone, with family, or with friends. It is the ideal getaway from the bustle of city life.
